Global warming?

What a joke! Coldest winter in years! And now California has to teach "Global Warming" in schools as a fact.

So who has the freedom of speech in this country?

Global warming has not yet been proven.

And I will be among the most surprised if there is any truth to it.

I will not be surprised when we are told by the nightly news that it was a hoax.

Of course, we are not likely to hear those kind of words by the liberal news media.

Hi Kathreen.

Not to pick a fight, but "Global Warming" is simply a bad name for the phenomenon that scientists are talking about. It should be called something like "Climate Destabilization." It's not that the whole globe will necessarily warm up, but that weather will be more extreme, being warmer in some places and colder in others, and with more storms and things like that.

I was confused about it, too, but I found an article that goes into it more in depth here.

When you say it is the coldest winter in California, have you ever seen the movie the day after tomorroww?? now i know its just a movie, but according to cnn, it gave very accurate description of what could happen if there was indeed global warming. if you've ever seen the movie, you would know that they went on to give an explanation that the earth will try to balance itself out by giving larger storms in some places, and the actual warming in others. I agree with what emily wrote. like, i live in maine and this year the snowfall has made records!!! last month we only had 6 days where we did not have a snowstorm.

by the way, i don think you have an excellent blog.
